Celebrate Healing Day 2019, the 400th Year Commemoration of the arrival of the First Africans in English speaking North America with an evening of traditional Folk and Gospel music and entertainment.
The Southeastern Virginia Arts Association presents a cultural event including a Cultural Drum Welcoming performance and Spoken Historical Overture, The Boys Choir of Hampton Roads, and Clarinetist, Composer, Conductor and Vocalist Mr. Julius E. McCullough.
This event is free and open to the public, Thursday evening April 18, 2019, Reception 6:30pm; Event 7:00pm-8:00pm.

AFR'AM FEST is a celebration of African-American Culture and African American Heritage. This festival brings together the best of life and fun in an educational, entertaining and interactive way.
Since 1983, SEVAA, has produced and hosted this major annual fundraising event which grew into one of the largest African American Arts Festivals on the East Coast.
